Inquiry Open House

Wednesday, January 16, 2008  Panera-Oakland, Blvd. of the Allies, 4:30-6:30

At the January Open House we will continue our discussions of and growth in the Inquiry process.  All interest levels and experience levels will be honored and supported.  We will continue to support existing Inquiry groups and to help grow new groups. Many areas of focus for inquiry are encouraged including but not limited to book studies, best practices and issues critical to teacher's everyday lives.  Please join us and help to grow our Inquiry Community!

Legislative Network Meeting

Open Invitation to form the Legislative Network Team for NWP Spring Meeting in DC

If you are interested in promoting the work of the National Writing Project with Congressional legislators, please consider being a member of our Legislative Network Team.  Jane Dorman, Legislative Coordinator, invites anyone interested to attend a planning meeting on Thursday, January 31st at 4:30p.m. at the Panera on the Blvd. of the Allies in Oakland.  The purpose of this meeting is to start the planning process for a delegation of four Fellows to attend the NWP Spring Meeting in Washington, D.C. April 3-4.  This is a wonderful opportunity to share with colleagues from across the country and to express our passion for writing to our members of Congress and U.S. senators. Members who do not attend the DC meeting can help with contacting legislators.
